What this service covers
QuangAnhcons provides overhead and underground medium-voltage electrical works for factory connections, industrial facilities and defined network relocation packages in Vietnam. A complete proposal addresses the route, cable or conductor system, structures, joints, terminations, protection interfaces, testing and reinstatement responsibilities.
Discuss your project in English with our team. Our priority delivery area is Southern Vietnam; project location, access and mobilization are confirmed during quotation.
A defined scope from design to handover
Route assessment and design
Review survey data, connection location, existing utilities, cable entries, road crossings, access and future expansion. Compare feasible route options with civil and electrical interfaces clearly identified.
Overhead distribution works
Coordinate poles, structures, foundations, conductors, insulators, hardware, earthing and protection equipment against the approved design and the local network operator's requirements.
Coordinate voltage class, cable construction, connector interfaces, screening, bonding and accessory compatibility. Prepare acceptance checks and agreed testing before energization.
Engineering decisions that shape your project
Match cable voltage ratings to the actual system
The nominal network voltage alone is not enough to select a cable. Confirm U₀/U(Um), system earthing, fault duration and the project specification. The scope of IEC 60502-2 is not a blanket approval for every 35 kV network; the cable system and accessories must meet the applicable rated-voltage and utility requirements.
Thermal and fault performance
Cable ampacity depends on installation arrangement, soil thermal resistivity, depth, ducts, grouping and ambient conditions. Check short-circuit thermal duty and screen/earth-fault duty against the clearing time. Verify the intended bonding arrangement and the manufacturer's installation limits.
Measure installed length and purchase length separately
A hypothetical three-core cable route of 300 m, two 8 m risers and 8 m of measured bends/termination allowance requires 324 m before any stated procurement reserve. Three single-core cables covering the same route require three conductor lengths, or 972 m in that example. Drum planning, joint positions and actual geometry may change these quantities.
Constructability and testing
A route that fits on a plan may still fail cable-pulling limits. Check bending radii, pulling tension, sidewall pressure, duct occupancy and access to joint bays. Specify the inspection and electrical tests appropriate to the installed cable and accessories. Test method, voltage and duration are selected by the responsible engineer and equipment guidance, not copied from a generic checklist.

Package
Drum handling, access, witnesses and civil boundaries
Route length is only one cost driver. Cable type, soil conditions, surface reinstatement, road crossings, structures, joints, outages, traffic arrangements and access can materially change the price. Trenchless crossings, live-line works and exceptional civil conditions require separate assessment and an expressly agreed specialist scope.

Review the route, constraints, permits and available survey information.
Approve the electrical/civil design and coordinated cable schedule.
Agree materials, drum lengths, installation method and inspection points.
Complete construction, accessory installation and specified tests.
Close records, coordinate authorized energization and deliver as-built route information.
Documents you should receive

Frequently asked questions
Is underground installation always better than an overhead line?
No. Compare available corridors, network requirements, civil work, fault location/repair access, aesthetics, exposure and lifecycle cost. The preferred arrangement is project-specific.
Can an approximate route support a budget quotation?
Yes, provided route lengths and civil assumptions are stated. A firm offer needs the approved route, interface details and verified conditions affecting installation.
Are joints unavoidable?
No. Drum lengths and pulling sections can sometimes reduce them. The decision must also account for delivery logistics, permissible pulling loads, bends and future repair access.
Who authorizes energization?
Energization follows the responsible network operator's and asset owner's procedures. Construction completion alone does not authorize switching or connection.
Technical reference framework
Relevant engineering references are selected for the contracted equipment and installation. Applicable Vietnamese requirements, local network conditions, manufacturer instructions and the agreed design basis determine project compliance; listing a standard is not a certification claim.

Send your project details, BOQ or drawings to request a formal quotation. Fields marked * are required.
Quotation scope
Applies to one EVN-supplied substation with oil-immersed transformers at 22/0.4 kV (single-phase: 12.7/0.23 kV), with MV metering VTs/CTs supplied by EVN. The estimate includes the selected equipment, installation, earthing, transformer-to-main-breaker connections, design and connection documentation, and coordination of testing and utility acceptance.
Kiosk, integrated steel-pole and indoor substations include MV switchgear and the entered underground cable route. Other outdoor arrangements use the relevant protection configuration. The final diagram must meet the project connection requirements.
Excludes VAT, cables from the substation switchboard to the MSB/loads, live-line work, harmonic reactors, weak-ground treatment or special piling, land and special fire-protection provisions. Underground routes assume normal construction conditions and exclude road drilling and special reinstatement.
Prices are indicative investment budgets. A formal quotation follows site assessment and agreement on the configuration. Electrical selections are preliminary and require design verification before installation.
Capacity range and application conditions
The catalogue defines the enquiry range of this tool, not universal TCVN capacity limits. Single pole-mounted transformers: 15–100 kVA; three-unit banks: 3×15–3×100 kVA. Platform substations: 100–630 kVA. Steel-pole substations: 100–630 kVA; 750/800 kVA require design verification and local approval. Ground-mounted, kiosk and indoor configurations: 50–10,000 kVA. Not every configuration has a package price or the same structural design.
Reference: EVN Decision 1299/QD-EVN dated 3 November 2017, Volume 1, sections 3.3–3.4. Check the current requirements of the responsible utility before implementation. Kiosks must meet manufacturer ratings and testing requirements (IEC 62271-202); indoor and ground-mounted arrangements must meet project layout, ventilation, structural and fire-protection requirements. For multiple transformers, specify the quantity and capacity of each unit.
