What this service covers
QuangAnhcons helps factory owners, investors and main contractors turn an electrical brief into a defined design and pricing package. Services can begin with remote review of drawings and load information, followed by targeted site verification, engineering coordination and a traceable bill of quantities for tendering or construction planning.
Discuss your project in English with our team. Our priority delivery area is Southern Vietnam; project location, access and mobilization are confirmed during quotation.
A defined scope from design to handover
Pre-survey document review
Review the project brief, site plan, equipment loads, utility conditions and available designs. Identify what can be priced immediately and what remains an assumption or information request.
Targeted survey and verification
Define the survey questions before visiting. Verify relevant routes, dimensions, existing assets, access and interfaces within an agreed scope. Specialist structural, geotechnical or diagnostic work is separately assigned.
Electrical design and coordination
Develop or review load schedules, single-line diagrams, equipment arrangements, feeder routes and interface requirements at the agreed design stage. Coordinate with architecture, civil, process and other MEP disciplines.
BOQ and tender support
Measure quantities against a stated drawing revision, structure specification-linked line items and prepare supplier/contractor RFQs. Record clarifications, alternatives and exclusions so offers can be compared fairly.
Engineering decisions that shape your project
Use a design-stage label on every deliverable
A concept estimate supports option selection. A developed tender package supports comparable contractor pricing. Approved construction/shop drawings support installation within the project approval process. As-built records document what was installed. These deliverables have different maturity levels and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Make load assumptions auditable
Record connected load, running load, motor starting, simultaneity, power factor and future expansion by equipment or load group. State which values came from owner data, manufacturer data or assumptions. Unknown data should generate an information request rather than a false precision in the design.
Measure quantities against geometry and interfaces
Separate route length from purchased cable length, cable cores from circuits and switchboard sets from outgoing feeders. Count terminations, supports, earthing connections, fire stopping, labels and testing. Assign responsibilities at transformer, board and equipment terminals so neither omissions nor double counting are built into the BOQ.
Control revisions and cost uncertainty
Give each BOQ line a unit, quantity, description and drawing/specification reference where appropriate. Identify provisional quantities and allowances explicitly. A revised route or load list should trigger a visible quantity or specification change, allowing the client to understand its cost and programme impact.
Coordinate construction, safety and approvals
Design packages consider access for installation and maintenance, equipment clearances, protection, earthing and the relevant project requirements. Licensed/statutory design, authority submissions and independent verification are included only where the contract assigns them and appropriately qualified parties are appointed.

Agreed coordination scope and response arrangements
Engineering and survey fees depend on information quality, system complexity, deliverables, review cycles and site access. For a new factory, remote review can precede a survey. If an early survey is requested, its fee and any credit against a later construction contract should be agreed in writing. Do not assume a free survey or unlimited redesign is included.
From your brief to acceptance
Send available drawings, load information, connection data and objectives.
Receive a gap list, proposed deliverables and the basis of the preliminary budget.
Agree any survey scope, fee and how it may be credited to a subsequent contract.
Develop the design and BOQ through defined review checkpoints.
Resolve interfaces, specifications, alternatives and tender clarifications.
Issue the agreed revision with an assumptions register and next-stage actions.
Documents you should receive
Input register and design-basis/assumptions document
Information requests and survey findings for the agreed scope
Electrical calculations and drawings at the contracted design stage
BOQ with units, quantities and specification references
Supplier/contractor RFQ package and comparison notes if included
Revision record, exclusions and outstanding decisions
The quotation identifies included documents, review cycles, approvals, acceptance criteria, exclusions and warranty obligations.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a quotation without an immediate site visit?
Yes. Supply the layout, load list, connection point, scope and target programme. The initial offer will state its assumptions and identify the specific items needing later site verification.
What if the factory has not been constructed?
Use the architectural plan, production layout, equipment data and utility conditions. Physical survey work can then focus on the site boundary, connection route and constraints that already exist.
Will the BOQ contain quantities for every final installation item?
A BOQ is complete only to its stated scope and design maturity. Provisional quantities and unknown equipment interfaces must remain visible until resolved. An early estimate should not be represented as a fully coordinated construction take-off.
Can your documents be used to compare other contractors?
The contracted tender package can be structured for that purpose. Confirm permitted use, document ownership, required professional approvals and the level of design detail in the engagement.
Technical reference framework
Relevant engineering references are selected for the contracted equipment and installation. Applicable Vietnamese requirements, local network conditions, manufacturer instructions and the agreed design basis determine project compliance; listing a standard is not a certification claim.

Request a project quotation
Send your project details, BOQ or drawings to request a formal quotation. Fields marked * are required.
Quotation scope
Applies to one EVN-supplied substation with oil-immersed transformers at 22/0.4 kV (single-phase: 12.7/0.23 kV), with MV metering VTs/CTs supplied by EVN. The estimate includes the selected equipment, installation, earthing, transformer-to-main-breaker connections, design and connection documentation, and coordination of testing and utility acceptance.
Kiosk, integrated steel-pole and indoor substations include MV switchgear and the entered underground cable route. Other outdoor arrangements use the relevant protection configuration. The final diagram must meet the project connection requirements.
Excludes VAT, cables from the substation switchboard to the MSB/loads, live-line work, harmonic reactors, weak-ground treatment or special piling, land and special fire-protection provisions. Underground routes assume normal construction conditions and exclude road drilling and special reinstatement.
Prices are indicative investment budgets. A formal quotation follows site assessment and agreement on the configuration. Electrical selections are preliminary and require design verification before installation.
Capacity range and application conditions
The catalogue defines the enquiry range of this tool, not universal TCVN capacity limits. Single pole-mounted transformers: 15–100 kVA; three-unit banks: 3×15–3×100 kVA. Platform substations: 100–630 kVA. Steel-pole substations: 100–630 kVA; 750/800 kVA require design verification and local approval. Ground-mounted, kiosk and indoor configurations: 50–10,000 kVA. Not every configuration has a package price or the same structural design.
Reference: EVN Decision 1299/QD-EVN dated 3 November 2017, Volume 1, sections 3.3–3.4. Check the current requirements of the responsible utility before implementation. Kiosks must meet manufacturer ratings and testing requirements (IEC 62271-202); indoor and ground-mounted arrangements must meet project layout, ventilation, structural and fire-protection requirements. For multiple transformers, specify the quantity and capacity of each unit.
