What this service covers
QuangAnhcons supports electrical inspection, testing coordination, preventive maintenance and defined power-system upgrades for industrial facilities in Vietnam. Work starts with the asset register, operating risks and available outage windows, then develops a documented work package with measurable acceptance criteria and clearly assigned responsibilities.
Discuss your project in English with our team. Our priority delivery area is Southern Vietnam; project location, access and mobilization are confirmed during quotation.
A defined scope from design to handover
Condition assessment
Review records, equipment condition, loading, alarms and maintenance history. Identify findings that need immediate isolation, further investigation or a planned corrective action.
Inspection and testing coordination
Define appropriate inspection and test methods for the assets. Coordinate qualified testing organizations, calibrated instruments, witness requirements and reports where specialist or statutory testing is needed.
Preventive maintenance
Develop equipment-specific work lists for inspection, cleaning, mechanical checks, settings review and consumable replacement according to the manufacturer and the agreed maintenance regime.
Power-system upgrades
Assess transformer or feeder capacity, switchboard alterations, protection changes and staged cutovers. Include temporary arrangements, rollback conditions and revised drawings in the work package.
Engineering decisions that shape your project
Separate visual findings from measured evidence
A thermal image or abnormal sound is a starting point, not a complete diagnosis. Record operating load, ambient conditions and equipment identity when collecting evidence. Compare findings with historical measurements and manufacturer limits before deciding the corrective work.
Choose tests for the equipment and objective
Insulation, contact resistance, transformer diagnostics, protective-device checks and other tests serve different purposes. Some tests can affect connected electronics or aged insulation. Establish isolation boundaries and the approved test method before work; do not apply a single test voltage or pass threshold to every asset.
Verify protection after capacity changes
A larger transformer or a new source may change fault current, protection selectivity, earthing behavior and switchboard duty. A capacity upgrade therefore includes source and downstream assessment, not only exchanging equipment. Review relay settings and breaker coordination against the final configuration.
Plan the interruption and recovery
Prepare the outage scope, responsible switching personnel, isolation/lockout arrangements, test hold points and acceptance conditions. Confirm materials, access, temporary supply and rollback criteria before the shutdown. All switching and energized work follow the asset owner's approved procedures and qualified personnel requirements.
Make results actionable
A useful report identifies each asset, inspection conditions, test method, instrument reference, results and required actions. Classify defects by operational consequence and urgency, assign owners and distinguish completed repairs from recommendations awaiting approval.

Revised settings, drawings, test records and training
The price depends on asset quantity, test depth, outage constraints, access and replacement needs. Separate inspection/testing from repair allowances and spare parts. Emergency attendance, out-of-hours work, temporary generation, specialist diagnostics and network-owner charges should be separately agreed rather than hidden in a generic maintenance rate.
From your brief to acceptance
Collect the asset list, records, symptoms and production constraints.
Review risks and agree the inspection/testing scope.
Prepare methods, outage windows, personnel and acceptance criteria.
Perform the authorized work with inspection hold points.
Review test results and verify the agreed restoration conditions.
Close corrective actions and update drawings, settings and maintenance records.
Documents you should receive
Asset register and condition findings
Inspection/test scope and agreed methods
Outage and work coordination documents
Test reports with equipment and instrument identification
Corrective-action register and completion evidence
Updated drawings/settings and a recommended maintenance schedule
The quotation identifies included documents, review cycles, approvals, acceptance criteria, exclusions and warranty obligations.
Frequently asked questions
Can maintenance be completed without stopping production?
Some observation and non-intrusive measurements may be possible under approved conditions. Many maintenance and test activities require isolation. The work plan must state what can be performed during operation and what needs an outage.
Does passing one test prove the entire system is safe?
No. Safety and reliability require an appropriate combination of records review, inspection, testing and evaluation. A single result does not prove every protective measure or operating condition.
Can you quote replacement work from photographs?
Photographs and nameplates support an initial assessment. Final compatibility, ratings, access and safety conditions require adequate drawings and verification before procurement or site work.
How is warranty handled for repair work?
The quotation distinguishes workmanship obligations, replaced equipment warranties and pre-existing defects. For qualifying installation or upgrade works, a 12-month workmanship/defects period can be defined from acceptance.
Technical reference framework
Relevant engineering references are selected for the contracted equipment and installation. Applicable Vietnamese requirements, local network conditions, manufacturer instructions and the agreed design basis determine project compliance; listing a standard is not a certification claim.

Send your project details, BOQ or drawings to request a formal quotation. Fields marked * are required.
Quotation scope
Applies to one EVN-supplied substation with oil-immersed transformers at 22/0.4 kV (single-phase: 12.7/0.23 kV), with MV metering VTs/CTs supplied by EVN. The estimate includes the selected equipment, installation, earthing, transformer-to-main-breaker connections, design and connection documentation, and coordination of testing and utility acceptance.
Kiosk, integrated steel-pole and indoor substations include MV switchgear and the entered underground cable route. Other outdoor arrangements use the relevant protection configuration. The final diagram must meet the project connection requirements.
Excludes VAT, cables from the substation switchboard to the MSB/loads, live-line work, harmonic reactors, weak-ground treatment or special piling, land and special fire-protection provisions. Underground routes assume normal construction conditions and exclude road drilling and special reinstatement.
Prices are indicative investment budgets. A formal quotation follows site assessment and agreement on the configuration. Electrical selections are preliminary and require design verification before installation.
Capacity range and application conditions
The catalogue defines the enquiry range of this tool, not universal TCVN capacity limits. Single pole-mounted transformers: 15–100 kVA; three-unit banks: 3×15–3×100 kVA. Platform substations: 100–630 kVA. Steel-pole substations: 100–630 kVA; 750/800 kVA require design verification and local approval. Ground-mounted, kiosk and indoor configurations: 50–10,000 kVA. Not every configuration has a package price or the same structural design.
Reference: EVN Decision 1299/QD-EVN dated 3 November 2017, Volume 1, sections 3.3–3.4. Check the current requirements of the responsible utility before implementation. Kiosks must meet manufacturer ratings and testing requirements (IEC 62271-202); indoor and ground-mounted arrangements must meet project layout, ventilation, structural and fire-protection requirements. For multiple transformers, specify the quantity and capacity of each unit.
