What the reactive power means?
|In power networks are consumed two types of energy – active and reactive.
Active energy P (kW) – is the useful energy consumed by loads such as lamps, heaters, computers, etc.
Reactive energy Q (kVAr) – is consumed only for the excitation of the electromagnetic field in electric machines, electric motors and in transformer cores.
